Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see a list of video viewers while live streaming on Facebook?

No - while you can see how many views you're receiving on a live video, you won't be able to see which specific users have been watching it. The same applies to a normal news feed video.

Can I see if my friends watched news feed videos?

No - a video watched by a friend will appear as a normal video in your news feed, with no indicator that they've watched it. The only way to tell if someone else has watched a Facebook live or regular video is if they liked or commented on it.

Are there any third party apps for seeing the users behind your Facebook video views?

No - Facebook, like other social media platforms, doesn't make this information public. Therefore there is no way for a third party app to obtain the information. You should always use caution when signing up for third party apps, as they may pose a risk to the security of your account and can often violate Facebook's terms of service.
