Clearing out your blocked users list? Learn how to unblock someone on Pinterest via the Pinterest app or desktop site.

On A Mobile Device

Open the profile page of the user you wish to unblock. You can easily find a user’s profile by searching their Pinterest handle (@username) rather than their display name. If you’re unsure what their username is, or if it’s changed, type in what you remember and browse the search results.

Tap the three horizontal dots on the top right corner.

Tap Unblock.

On Desktop

Open the profile page of the person or business account you’d like to unblock. You can use the search bar to locate Pinterest profiles based on their username or display name.

Click Unblock on the bottom left.

How To Block Someone On Pinterest

If you’re tired of unwanted interactions, you can block multiple accounts in just a few steps.

A blocked profile will not be able to follow you, message you, or interact with your pins but they will still appear in search results, feeds, and group boards.

Any pins you’ve saved from a blocked user will still remain on your profile.

Pinterest does not notify users when they’ve been blocked or unblocked, regardless of whether or not they have a personal or business profile.

The entire process takes just a few seconds, and you can easily unblock someone using the unblock button if you’ve changed your mind.

Blocking A User

You can block a regular Pinterest user on either desktop or mobile by following the steps below:

On Desktop

Open Pinterest and navigate to the profile you want to block.

Click the three dots on the top right to bring up a dropdown menu.

Click Block and confirm your choice.

On Mobile (Android Device or iOS)

Open the profile you want to block.

Tap the three dots on the top right corner.

Tap Block button and confirm your choice.

Blocking A Business Account

To block a business account, navigate to the profile.

Tap the three dots on the top right corner.

Tap Block button and confirm your choice.

How To Access Your Blocked List

While other social media platforms provide a list of blocked users or accounts for later reference, Pinterest has opted out of this.

Users will see an error message beneath the Blocked Users list in their Pinterest settings:

So if you want to unblock someone on Pinterest, you’ll need to remember their username or display name in order to locate their profile page again via the search icon, and go through the process of unblocking them.
