Currently Facebook allows users to download their own posted FB Reels videos from the Facebook app.
Users who wish to download Facebook Reels online that other users have posted will need to use a third party Facebook Reels downloader - however, keep in mind that this may violate Facebook's Terms of Service and can pose a security risk to your device and/or account.
On Mobile
To download a Facebook Reels video that you shared to Facebook, open the Facebook app and follow the steps below:
- Tap your profile picture on the top left.
- Tap Videos (next to Posts)
- Tap the FB Reel video you want to download, then tap the three dots.

Your Facebook Reel will be downloaded to your device's camera roll.
NOTE: If your Reels include another user's original audio (or are remixes of Reels with original audio), they will be muted when you download videos.
